Virtual Control Model

The virtual control model is designed for large scale operations which have a number of distributed call-centres, accessing and using a primary (Live) data-centre, with a secondary (DR) site available, which is fully up to date with the live site, for Disaster Recovery operations.

In most instances the actual call centres will be located together with the data-centres, or at least some of them will, however this is not essential.

Failover

Local Failover is provided via a highly resilient server Cluster, so should a server fail for whatever reason, the system will automatically fail-over to it's paired server. The dbase itself is fully protected on a highly resilient disk array, meaning that local failover is virtually seamless.

Disaster Recovery

No solution in this scale would be complete without an effective off-site recovery plan. The Virtual Control model provides this in spades, real-time database mirroring to the DR Site means that,  should the primary site be completely lost, the remote users can be instantly re-directed to the backup installation, complete with all of the interfaces that were connected to the primary site prior to the failure, this really is the ultimate in DR Management.
