NIAS Go for C3   (14/02/2008)

Northern Ireland Ambulance Service are the latest Service to implement Alert C3. The service had already implemented Alert C3 PTS in 2007.

NIAS were previously users of Alert 2000 and have taking full advantage of many of the system features, including an excellent implementation of Status Plan Management throughout the province.

Alert C3 is seen as the foundation for the next level of technology, that is the introduction of Mobile data and advanced AVLS, which are currently underway.

NIAS have already implemented Digital Trunked Radio, known as the Baracuda system, which is very similar to the solution being implemented across the rest of the UK.
