Management Information

To meet the needs of your service you need, without any doubt, the most efficient and best performing Command and Control System that's available, you also need the system with the best access to management information, fortunately there is a single system that fully meets these demands. Alert C3 users consistently demonstrate the best EOC handling times in DoH returns, they will also attest to the unsurpassed access to management information that C3 provides.

Open Database Architecture

At MIS we fully understand that the data in your system is both yours, and that it plays a crucial part in your continued service deliver, to this end we provide a wealth of facilities that help you make the most of the underlying data, have easy access to it and can harness it in the most effective manner possible. For example the system is supplied with a full database schema allowing for your own internal development using 3rd party analysis tool such as Crystal Report or Business Objects.

Reporting Database

Many services will have experienced either delays in getting to their data, or the possibility that accessing large data sets has resulted in a degradation of performance in the live operational system. We understand the impact this has on the organisation, we therefore ensure that each system is implemented with a real-time replicated reporting database, meaning that you have unfettered access to your data - without restriction - whenever you need it.

MIS EIS (Executive Information System)

Not all organisations have the need, or indeed the expertise on hand to take full advantage of the unrestricted access offered by industry standard tools such as Crystal or Business Objects, we have therefore developed the MIS Executive information System for Alert C3. This easy to use and intuitive report builder allow you to quickly access your data and analyse it via the standard Microsoft Office suite. Essentially if you are familiar with MS Excel, you will quickly get to grips with EIS. For more advanced users EIS Enterprise allow you to use the simple report builder to develop your report and then export the underlying SQL statement which you can then incorporate in any locally produced or 3rd party report. EIS provides maximum flexibility with minimal expertise or training.

Web Reporting

Today there is an even greater need to distribute data quickly and effectively throughout the organisations., and there is no better medium than intranet Web based delivery. We understand this and have developed a wide range of Web based facilities which provide exactly the level of access that you require, some of these Web facilities include;

  • Incident Search and Viewing
  • Sequence of Events Analysis (Incident and Resource Log Files)
  • Last 24 - Divisional demand and reporting by period (hour/day/month etc)
  • Lost Unit Hour and Unit Hour Utilisation
  • Resource Status and Location (Web Based GIS Integration)
  • Status Planning Compliance and Coverage
  • EMDC Dashboard (Control Room Performance Reporting)
The Whole Picture

Alert C3 differs from many of the systems on the market today in that the system has been designed from the bottom up to have the capability to analyse all aspects of the operation, not just those that relate to the actual incident. Unit Hour Utilisation is one such example, however other aspects such as Rest Period Management, Individual Workload, and Status Plan Compliance are other critical aspects of the system that Alert C3 provides both the tools to analyse and the data as output for 3rd party reporting systems. In short C3 provides the whole picture, rather than just part of it.
