Communications
Choosing your CAD System is a major commitment, of course cost and performance are key factors; however the demonstrable ability for the CAD vendor to integrate to your own unique infrastructure is absolutely essential, this together with their track record in working with other suppliers must be at the forefront of any decision to implement a system.
MIS have an unsurpassed level of experience in this field and have integrated Command and Control systems to all leading communications systems in use both in the UK and Ireland.
Our approach is simple; any interface to an Emergency CAD system must be robust, fast, reliable and fully auditable. We fully appreciate that the dispatcher must have absolute confidence that their message has been transmitted, received and reacted to by the allocated resource, without fail – every time.
Mobile Data
We have been interfacing to Mobile Data supplier for over 15 years, our robust, intuitive interfaces are clearly designed for the most important person, the Dispatcher. All transmitted messages are clearly shown through each of the transmission stages, with intuitive message failure indicators, and simple one button re-try facilities when communications are disrupted or delayed. Our Message Queues form an integral part of the Dispatchers environment providing total confidence that each transmission is being delivered as optimally as possible to the crew. Where the crew needs to update Control on the incident progress the user friendly incoming message queue again is both intuitive, and designed to allow the Dispatcher to carry out the associate task with the minimum of keyboard entry, usually a single click completes the action.
Multiple Mobile Data Systems
Alert C3 has been designed from the ground up to allow for multiple Mobile Data Systems to be integrated and managed seamlessly on the same system. This approach means that should you intend to migrate from one supplier to another, the system will allow you to do so with the minimum of effort, and continue to operate despite having resources on multiple systems.
Radio Systems
C3 Supports multiple Radio Systems allowing for Radio Status transmission to be automatically received and applied to the incident. The user defined Radio Status Table within C3 means that should there be a need to modify your status codes this can be done within the application by your own system administrator rather than have to change your entire operational fleet to affect the change.
Tetra – (Digital Trunked Radio)
As you would expect with our experience in the UK and Irish Ambulance Service we have been involved in the introduction of Digital Radio systems since the outset and have worked with a number of service in implementing interfaces to Tetra, our first interface to Tetra was with States of Jersey Ambulance Service over 5 years ago, and more recently we have integrated the Mobile Data Systems with the Scottish Ambulance Service. A number of new ARP implementations are currently in progress throughout England.
Radio Pager and Mobile Telephony
C3 interfaces to all of the major Pager and SMS providers in the UK and Ireland, whether you intend to use these technologies for First Responders, or to keep Hospitals updated on a major incident, or simply to update managers of the current performance statistics C3 will meet your need.
Computer Telephony Integration (CTI)
Again with CLI, EISEC, ALSEC, DS1000. DS2000, APD, Symposium and Centricity interfaces ‘off the shelf’ you can be sure that your telephony requirements are fully met.
