MIS have been providing systems to the Ambulance Services in the UK and Ireland for a quarter of a century, it is obvious that we aren’t just doing something right, we really must be doing very little wrong!

Medical Priority

Alert C3 offers full integration with Medical Priority ProQA™. This is the preferred solution for the majority of Ambulance Services In the UK and Ireland

The ProQA Emergency Dispatch Software Program integrates the power of the National Academies of Emergency Dispatch™ Protocols with today's critical computer technologies. Just like the manual dispatch cardsets, this online version helps emergency dispatchers move smoothly through Case Entry and Key Questioning.

ProQA is designed to assist dispatchers in quickly determining the appropriate response determinant code for each case and can be programmed to clearly display the response configuration specifically assigned to that code by local agency authorities and individual centres. ProQA  then guides dispatchers in providing all relevant Post-Dispatch and Pre-Arrival Instructions, as well as important case entry protocols.

Seamless Integration

This expert system has been seamlessly integrated for maximum usability and minimal keyboard entry, the C3 Desktop has been optimised to incorporate ProQA as if it were a part of the programme itself, uses can instantly navigate between the case entry questions and the Command and Control incident record, meaning that both Horizontal and Vertical Dispatch models are fully supported. If you are using ProQA you will find it difficult to find better integrated model.

Fully Informed Call-Takers with ProQA

By design call-takers whilst in Case Entry can see, without carrying out any action, that a unit has been resourced to the call, and the ETA of the resource to the callers location, re-calculated on a second to second basis using the integrated IRIS (Intelligent Routing Information Service) module, meaning that when the pressure in on the call-taker is constantly being updated, automatically with the status of the responding resource.

Dispatch Code Cross Reference

C3 incorporates a highly functional DCR facility, which means that once a call is coded via ProQA the service can set up a pre-determined process for the call, for example it may be that the call is re-directed to NHS Direct, or to another agency or ECP desk. In addition to this the DCR can be configured to assign specific operational procedures for any call type.
